Yoga & Mindfulness

A practice in presence. A return to yourself.
Yoga is more than movement — it’s a way of remembering who you are beneath the noise, expectation, and pace of everyday life. Through breath, awareness, and intentional movement, you’re invited back into a steadier, more centered version of yourself.

Classes curated with intention.

My classes are an invitation to come home to your body — to move with intention, breathe deeply, and discover a sense of steadiness within. Whether you’re stepping onto your mat for the first time or deepening a longtime practice, yoga offers a space to listen inward, soften tension, and reconnect with your natural rhythm. Every class is strong, steady, and mindful, rooted in breath and awareness so you can leave feeling grounded, clear, and fully present. Join me for weekly classes at Root Down Yoga Studio in La Crosse.

Mandy Joy

“I think the most important gift yoga has given me is a reconnection with my own inner knowing."

I discovered yoga in 2001, and what began as a way to move my body soon became a way of being. After earning my degree in Health Education and working in corporate wellness, I opened Root Down Yoga Studio in La Crosse, Wisconsin, with my husband, Nick. Over the years, yoga became my anchor — a practice that helped me return to my center again and again.

I draw from my own experiences and the great teachers I’ve had the honor of studying with. I see each class as an opportunity to stay connected to what is needed and respond accordingly. I look forward to sharing this practice with you!
